2 Hospitalized after 3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 215 near University Avenue Off-Ramp in Riverside
Riverside, California (July 27, 2022) – Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Tuesday night in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision occurred at about 11:18 p.m. on northbound Interstate 215, just north of the University Avenue off-ramp.
According to CHP, a white Toyota Tacoma, a gray Hyundai and a third car were involved in the accident.
Two of the vehicles reportedly overturned on the right-hand shoulder, and the third car was blocking traffic lanes after the crash.
Two parties went unconscious after the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported two seriously injured people to Riverside Community Hospital.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
