At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Whittier Car Crash on Interstate 605 near Slauson Avenue
Whittier, California (July 27, 2022) – At least one person sustained severe injuries in a two-car accident that happened Wednesday morning in Whittier, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision occurred at about 8:46 a.m. on southbound Interstate 605, just north of Slauson Avenue.
A party in a blue Kia Optima called authorities advising they had collided with a silver Mercedes-Benz CLK430.
An occupant of one of the cars was reportedly passed out inside the vehicle.
At least one person sustained serious injuries in the collision, as per the report. Emergency personnel responded and transported the patient to the hospital in unknown condition.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
