At Least 1 Hurt After Carlsbad Truck Accident on 5 Freeway near Palomar Airport Road
Carlsbad, California (July 28, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-car accident involving a semi-truck that resulted in minor injuries on Wednesday night in Carlsbad.
The accident occurred on 5 Freeway, south of Palomar Airport Road, at around 10:20 p.m. July 27.
Per the report, a big rig and four cars crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene and attended to at least one party with minor injuries due to the car accident. The total number of patients was not provided.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
The car accident remains under investigation.
