Claudia Lopez Killed, Jonathan Lopez Injured in Wasco Car Accident on Kimberlina Road and Magnolia Avenue

Wasco, California (July 30, 2022) – Claudia Mora Lopez, 32, of Wasco, was one of two people who were killed in a Wasco accident on Tuesday night, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
The incident took place on Kimberlina Road and Magnolia Avenue on Tuesday, July 26.
The California Highway Patrol said Jonathon Prado, 28, of Wasco, was driving a Honda Accord in the area when he failed to stop for a stop sign at Magnolia Avenue and crashed with a Rav4 heading west on Kimberlina Road.
Lopez was a passenger in Prado's vehicle. They were both killed in the accident.
Jonathan B.P. Lopez, 34, who was the driver of the Rav4, was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Kern Medical.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Wasco, California (July 27, 2022) – At least one person was killed and several others possibly injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday night at an intersection near Wasco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the wreck occurred at about 10:13 p.m. at Magnolia Avenue and Kimberlina Road.
An SUV and a white sedan were involved in the collision.
A local news source reported that one person was ejected, two were pinned, and two others were possibly not breathing.
According to CHP, at least one person died in the accident.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area due to traffic congestion.
CHP is investigating the accident.
