Two Injured in Newhall Car Accident on Wiley Canyon Road and Lyons Avenue
Newhall, California (August 1, 2022) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Newhall, according to the authorities.
The collision on Wiley Canyon Road and Lyons Avenue happened at around 3:30 p.m. on July 30.
According to the report, a silver four-door sedan, a red Hyundai SUV, a blue four-door sedan, a silver two-door Mitsubishi, and a gold Toyota pickup truck were involved in the incident.
It's unclear what led up to the crash.
One woman in the silver sedan and another in the Hyundai were both extricated by firefighters who responded to the scene. They were both transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The crash left the silver sedan and the Hyundai with heavy damage while the other vehicles sustained minimal damage.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision.
