Patrol Car Collides with Civilian Vehicle at Glendon Way and Rosemead Boulevard in Rosemead
Rosemead, California (August 1, 2022) – A deputy was hospitalized after being involved in a major crash with another vehicle early Saturday morning in Rosemead, as per a local news source.
Reports about the accident that happened at about 1:54 a.m. were received shortly after 2 a.m.
It is believed that a deputy was either responding to or engaged in a pursuit when he collided with an Audi in the area of Glendon Way and Rosemead Boulevard.
Both vehicles acquired major crash damage.
Police escorted the ambulance that transported the deputy to USCMC. The deputy was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
It is believed that a civilian from the other car was also hospitalized with unknown injuries.
It remained unclear what patrol station the deputy is attached to and if the patrol car had its lights and siren on when the collision happened.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
