Veteran Italian Actor John Steiner Dies in Car Crash at Seeley Drive and Miles Avenue in Riverside
Riverside County, California (August 2, 2022) – 80-year-old John Steiner has been identified as the man who died following a car accident that happened in La Quinta on Sunday morning.
At around 9:40 a.m. on July 31, the California Highway Patrol and Riverside Sheriff's Department responded to the scene of a collision at the intersection of Seeley Drive and Miles Avenue.
Two vehicles had reportedly collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

Steiner was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs where he later succumbed to his injuries.
A second person was hospitalized with major injuries.
Steiner was born in England but later moved to Italy for his acting career. He is known for the Bel Paese of the 60s and 70s. He also featured in the Tinto Brass and Carlo Verdone films. He retired and migrated to California where he lived until his tragic death.
Alcohol or drugs were not believed to be factors in the collision.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
