1 Hurt After Los Angeles Accident on 405 Freeway near Getty Center Drive
Los Angeles, California (August 2, 2022) – At least one person suffered minor injuries following a semi-truck accident on Monday afternoon in Los Angeles, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident occurred at around 12:57 p.m. August 1, on northbound 405 Freeway, just north of Getty Center Drive.
Per the report, three vehicles, including a semi-truck, crashed for reasons still under investigation. A party who witnessed the crash told officials that speed played a role in the collision.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and aided at least one person hurt in the collision. The total number of injured parties and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The roadway was cleared as of 1:14 p.m.
