At Least 1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Long Beach Accident on 605 Freeway and 405 Freeway
Long Beach, California (August 1, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident that resulted in minor injuries Monday morning in Long Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 7:48 a.m. on August 1, on southbound 605 Freeway, just north of 405 Freeway.
Police said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medical personnel arrived at the scene to attend to at least one party with minor injuries. Authorities did not provide the total number of patients.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the accident. All roads were opened as of 8:26 a.m.
No other information regarding the collision was released.
The incident remains under investigation.
