1 Hospitalized in Salinas Car Accident on Highway 101 near Airport Boulevard
Salinas, California (August 3, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a big rig accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Salinas, sending one person to the hospital.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred at about 12:10 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near Airport Boulevard.
A big rig and two other vehicles collided for unknown reasons, blocking both traffic lanes.
AMR responded to the scene and transported one person to Natividad Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
At the time of the report, it remained unclear what caused the accident.
