Police Officer Hurt in Oakdale Accident on West F Street
Oakdale, California (August 4, 2022) – A police officer was hit and injured by a vehicle at the scene of an earlier collision on Wednesday night, in Oakdale, according to the authorities.
Two cars reportedly collided in the 1300 block of West F Street just before 8:20 p.m. August 3.
As officers were investigating the scene, an officer directing traffic was hit by a vehicle.
The officer was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The collision is under investigation.
