1 Killed in Car Crash on Nees Avenue near 5 Freeway in Firebaugh
Fresno, California (August 4, 2022) – One person was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Thursday afternoon near Firebaugh.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Nees Avenue near 5 Freeway at around 12:08 p.m.
A semi-truck and two passenger vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
