Seven Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Interstate 80 near Manuel Campos Parkway in Fairfield
Fairfield, California (August 4, 2022) – Seven people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Thursday afternoon in Fairfield, as per a local news source.
The accident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. on westbound Interstate 80, just west of Manuel Campos Parkway.
The Fairfield Fire Department said several vehicles, including a big rig, were involved in the collision. The big rig jackknifed in the crash.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped the motorists. Three people were taken to a trauma center in unknown condition, and four others were treated for minor-to-moderate injuries at the scene.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
