1 Seriously Injured in Macdoel Car Accident near Shady Dell Road and Macdoel Dorris Road
Macdoel, California (August 4, 2022) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that took place Thursday afternoon in Macdoel, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received reports of the crash at around 12:08 p.m. near Shady Dell Road and Macdoel Dorris Road.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, and one of them rolled over.
Several people working in strawberry fields near the scene witnessed the collision.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and requested a helicopter to respond and airlift one person to the hospital. Airlink Air 3 responded and took the seriously injured victim to the hospital.
CHP is investigating the accident.
