At Least 1 Killed in Delano Car Crash on Garces Highway and Melcher Road
Delano, California (August 6, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a Saturday morning car accident in Delano, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 2:00 a.m. at Garces Highway and Melcher Road intersection.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Dodge Challenger collided with another car at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the crash impact, the Dodge reportedly caught fire.
At least one person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
