Giovanni Fissore Arrested after Deadly Dublin Accident on Dougherty Road
Dublin, California (August 7, 2022) – Giovanni Fissore, 42, of Livermore, was arrested following a fatal DUI collision that happened in Dublin on Sunday night, according to a local news source.
The incident took place in the 6200 block of Dougherty Road, just north of Dublin Boulevard at about 10 p.m. on July 31.
According to the report, Fissore was driving a Chevrolet SUV on Dougherty Road when he collided with a pedestrian who was walking in the southbound side.
The pedestrian succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released pending notification of the next of kin.
Fissore was arrested on suspicion of DUI, gross vehicular manlaughter, and child abuse.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
