Mandeep Kaur Killed in Foster City Accident on State Highway 92 near Foster City Boulevard
Foster City, California (August 8, 2022) – Mandeep Kaur, 36, of Hayward, was one of two people who died in a Foster City car accident on Friday morning, according to a report by the San Mateo County Coroner's Office.
The deadly accident happened shortly after 9:45 a.m. on August 5, on State Highway 92, just east of Foster City Boulevard.
Authorities said a Ford Fusion traveling westbound on Highway 92 swerved across traffic lanes and crashed into a big rig that was parked on the right-hand shoulder.
The Ford came to a rest in a ditch following the collision.
Two occupants of the Ford, including Kaur, died in the collision. One other occupant was hospitalized with injuries of unspecified severity.
There were no further details on the incident. The authorities are conducting an investigation into the crash.
