3 Hurt in Valencia Truck Accident at Rye Canyon Road and Avenue Stanford

Valencia, California (August 10, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a truck accident that left three people injured on Tuesday afternoon in Valencia.
The accident occurred at about 2:40 p.m. on August 9, at Rye Canyon Road and Avenue Stanford.
Per the CHP report, a service truck owned by Faucetman Plumbing Company ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed before crashing into an AT&T service truck. The AT&T truck was reportedly driving into the junction and was turning left when the accident happened.
Two other cars, a silver Honda Civic, and a silver 4-door sedan were also involved in the accident.
Responding fire officials freed the Faucetman Plumbing truck driver pinned inside his truck. He suffered minor injuries from the collision, while his male passenger suffered facial injuries. A third party also sustained injuries in the crash.
The medics took all three parties to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment. One of the patients was listed in a critical condition.
Authorities closed the intersection due to the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
