2 Injured in Hesperia Car Accident at Main Street and Timberlane Avenue
Hesperia, California (August 11, 2022) – A woman was seriously injured in a Hesperia car accident after a driver ran a stop sign at Main Street and Timberlane Avenue.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said a gray Chevy Suburban and a white Honda Civic collided at around 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, August 10.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the Chevy failed to stop at the stop sign at the corner and crashed with the Honda.
San Bernardino County firefighters responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to airlift the woman driving the Honda to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for her serious injuries. A family member said she sustained internal bleeding, and doctors were working to stop it.
The driver of the SUV was also taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
