Driver Arrested after San Diego DUI Accident on SR-94 near Interstate 805
San Diego, California (August 12, 2022) – Two people were injured and one of them arrested on suspicion of DUI after a collision that took place in San Diego on Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on SR-94 eastbound, west of Interstate 805 just before 1 p.m. on August 11.
According to the report, a 37-year-old San Bernardino man driving a Cadillac sedan collided with a GMC sport utility vehicle that was being driven by a 21-year-old San Diego woman.
The female driver sustained minor injuries.
The male driver was reportedly uncooperative and had to be restrained by authorities at the scene.
Authorities arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI. He was then transported to a hospital as a precaution.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
