1 Killed in Lake Elsinore Car Accident on Lake Street near Lakeshore Drive
Lake Elsinore, California (August 14, 2022) – One person suffered fatal injuries following a car accident late Saturday night in Lake Elsinore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:33 p.m. on August 13, in the 29000 block of Lake Street near Lakeshore Drive.
Per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews and medics rushed to the scene and declared one person dead at the accident location. Two other persons suffered injuries following the accident. One of the patients suffered severe injuries while the other sustained minor injuries.
The two patients were taken to the hospital for treatment. The names of the victims were not immediately provided.
Officials closed part of Lake Street due to the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
