Rider Killed in Palm City Motorcycle Accident on Coronado Avenue near Interstate 5

San Diego, California (August 15, 2022) – A motorcyclist died after being involved in a collision in Palm City, San Diego, on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 6:15 a.m. on Coronado Avenue near Interstate 5.
A motorcycle was traveling on the highway when it crashed into a flatbed truck.
Officials say the motorcyclist was killed in the crash.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
