3 Hurt After Carpinteria Car Accident on Via Real near Polo Club
Carpinteria, California (August 16, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a head-on collision that left three persons with injuries on Sunday evening in Carpinteria, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred a while before 6:30 p.m. on August 15, on Via Real near the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club.
Responding emergency crews treated a total of three persons who were injured in the crash. One person suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further medical aid. The two other patients sustained minor wounds due to the accident.
The names of the victims were not immediately provided.
Authorities closed part of Via Real following the collision.
The car accident remains under investigation.
