Several Injured after Truck Crashes into Bank in River Park, Fresno
Fresno, California (August 17, 2022) – Several people were injured in after a car crashed into a bank in the River Park area of Fresno on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at around 10:30 a.m. at Blackstone and Nees avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver told the police that they pulled up to Chase Bank and thought they put the truck into park – when they did not.
The driver accidentally accelerated and crashed into the bank, striking several customers.
Three people were injured in the collision and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Three others were treated at the scene and released.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
