Minor Injuries Suffered in Mission Viejo Crash on 5 Freeway near Alicia Parkway
Mission Viejo, California (August 17, 2022) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in Mission Viejo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 7:25 a.m. on southbound 5 Freeway at Alicia Parkway.
CHP said five vehicles were involved in the accident. One of the cars overturned in traffic lanes.
Several parties at the scene removed a driver from one of the cars.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and helped an unknown number of parties who suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the accident was not immediately determined, but an investigation is ongoing.
