Rider Injured in San Francisco Motorcycle Accident on San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge
San Francisco, California (August 19, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision that occurred on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 9:45 a.m. on the bridge.
The motorcyclist was reportedly struck by a Mini Cooper that was merging into the fast lane. The impact of the collision caused the motorcycle to fly off the bridge.
The rider stayed on the bridge and was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The Mini Cooper driver was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.

- Parents should teach the children walking or riding to and from school how to cross the road safely such as looking both ways before crossing the street, crossing at marked crosswalks, using available sidewalks.
