1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 15 Freeway near Yates Well Road in Nipton
San Bernardino, California (August 20, 2022) – One person died in a multi-vehicle collision that happened near Nipton on Friday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the fatal crash happened around 3:51 p.m. on northbound 15 Freeway near Yates Well Road.
Three vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision, however, were not immediately established.
CHP says one person was killed in the crash.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
