Rider Hospitalized after Los Gatos Motorcycle Crash on Highway 17
Los Gatos, California (August 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after colliding with a Tesla Saturday afternoon in Los Gatos.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision transpired at around 3:16 p.m. on northbound Highway 17 at Redwood Estates Road near the unincorporated community of Holy City.
The report said a motorcyclist on a fully-dressed Harley-Davidson collided with a white Tesla on a curve for unknown reasons.
The motorcycle went down, ejecting the rider onto the No. 2 lane.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to Valley Medical Center with serious injuries.
Highway 17 was closed at Little Moody Curve following the accident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
