At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Tracy Car Accident on Interstate 205 near N McArthur Drive On-Ramp
Tracy, California (August 21, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a two-car accident that took place Sunday afternoon in Tracy, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the incident occurred at around 6:32 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 205, just west of the N MacArthur Drive on-ramp.
The accident involved a minivan and a Volkswagen sedan. One of the vehicles reportedly overturned and landed back on its wheels.
At least one person who was possibly trapped in the wreckage sustained severe injuries. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the patient to the hospital.
Both vehicles were towed away with crash damage.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
