, California (August 22, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Monday morning that left at least one person injured in Monrovia.

The accident occurred at about 6:31 a.m. on the westbound Freeway, east of Huntington Drive off-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Toyota Scion and a red Subaru collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.

One of the vehicles reportedly rear-ended the other.

At least one person was injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.

More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
