At Least 2 Hospitalized after Riverside Car Accident on Interstate 215 near Columbia Avenue
Riverside, California (August 22, 2022) – At least two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision that took place Sunday night in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at about 8 p.m. on southbound Interstate 215 near Columbia Avenue.
A white Ford Focus collided with a Honda Pilot under unclear circumstances.
One of the drivers called authorities requesting an ambulance for their grandmother.
Another driver reported that she ran over debris from the crash, but she was unsure if her car was damaged.
AMR responded and transported at least two people to Riverside Community Hospital with unspecified injuries.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
