1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 1 near 280 Freeway in San Francisco

San Francisco, California (August 24, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in San Francisco on Tuesday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 1 near 280 Freeway at around 7:04 a.m.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered three vehicles including a pickup truck at the accident scene. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
Officials say one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
