Rider Dies in Merced Motorcycle Crash at M Street and 25th Street
Merced, California (August 24, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in a Monday afternoon crash that happened at an intersection in Merced.
According to the Merced Police Department, a motorcycle and a car collided at around 4 p.m. at M Street and 25th Street.
Emergency personnel responded and transported the rider to a local hospital with severe injuries. The motorcyclist, believed to be a man in his 50s, died of his injuries at the hospital.
The cause and manner of the accident were not immediately established.
Merced police are investigating the crash.
