1 Killed in Palmdale Car Accident on East Avenue O near Sierra Highway
Palmdale, California (August 24, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a fatal car accident that killed one person and left another individual with injuries on Monday afternoon in Palmdale.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 1:20 p.m. on August 22, in the 23000 block of East Avenue O near Sierra Highway.
Per the dispatch, two cars crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
Responding emergency crews declared one person dead at the accident location. The team extricated one person pinned in one of the cars. The patient was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The names of the victims were not immediately provided.
Authorities closed part of East Avenue O due to the collision.
An investigation is underway.
