Rider Injured in Arcata Bicycle Accident on Highway 101 near Highway 299
Arcata, California (August 24, 2022) – A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle in Arcata on Tuesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Highway 101 near Highway 299 at around 10:20 p.m. on August 23.
According to CHP, a man riding a bicycle collided with a vehicle on the highway.
The bicyclist was found down on the roadway with back injuries.
There was no update on the extent of the victim's injuries.
The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
