1 Suffers Minor Injuries in San Leandro Accident on 880 Freeway near Davis Street
San Leandro, California (August 24, 2022) – One person sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening in San Leandro, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on southbound 880 Freeway, just north of Davis Street at about 6:48 p.m. on August 23.
Per the officials, two vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene to render aid to at least one person hurt in the accident. The total number of victims and their current condition were not provided.
Authorities issued a SigAlert at 7:23 p.m., closing lanes 3, 4, and 5 following the accident. The SigAlert was cancelled, and all lanes re-opened at 7:33 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The incident remains under investigation.
