1 Hospitalized after Fairfield Accident on 80 Freeway near Manuel Campos Parkway
Fairfield, California (August 25, 2022) – One person was sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Fairfield, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Emergency personnel responded to eastbound 80 Freeway near Manuel Campos Parkway after receiving reports of the crash just before 2 p.m.
At the scene, the responders found a silver Audi Q7, a Jeep Cherokee, and a white pickup truck involved in the accident.
Paramedics transported one person to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were temporarily blocked following the incident.
An investigation is ongoing.
