1 Injured in Chino Hills Truck Accident on Highway 71 near Pine Avenue
Chino Hills, California (August 25, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury crash that left one person with minor injuries on Wednesday morning in Chino Hills.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:32 a.m. on August 24, southbound on Highway 71, just south of Pine Avenue.
Police said two semi-truck collided for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews and medical personnel rushed to the scene to attend to one male party with a leg injury following the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
Authorities issued a SigAlert for 30 minutes, closing lanes 1 and 2.
The trucks were towed away from the crash site.
No other information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
