Rider Killed in Visalia Motorcycle Accident on Road 24 and State Route 201

Visalia, California (August 26, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a vehicle in Visalia on Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Road 24 and State Route 201 at around 3:30 p.m. on August 25.
According to the CHP, a motorcyclist was traveling on State Route 201 when he failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck that had been traveling south on Road 24 and was trying to make a turn at the intersection.
The driver of the motorcycle was ejected from the bike and died at the scene. The rider of the motorcycle, a 34-year-old man, was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The other motorist, a 70-year-old man, was not injured.
Alcohol was not suspected to have played a role in the collision, which remained under investigation.
