Minor Injuries Sustained in Mission Viejo Crash on 5 Freeway near Avery Pkwy
Mission Viejo, California (August 27, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Mission Viejo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at about 3:40 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just south of Avery Pkwy.
A white Mercedes sedan and a Ford Edge were involved in the accident, blocking the No. 1 lane.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that the crash resulted in minor injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP is investigating to determine the factors that contributed to the accident.
