2 Injured in Watsonville Car Crash on Highway 152 near Gaffey Road
Watsonville, California (August 27, 2022) – Two people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Saturday morning near Watsonville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at about 9:19 a.m. on westbound Highway 152 near Gaffey Road.
A white Dodge Ram pickup truck collided with a black Honda Civic for unknown reasons. The Civic spun out and went off the roadway.
A female occupant of one of the cars hit her head and was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the party.
The firefighters transported the female party to Watsonville Community Hospital with minor injuries. Another person was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the accident, but an investigation is ongoing.
