, California (August 28, 2022) – One person was killed in a that happened in on Sunday morning.

The deadly collision happened at around 8:41 a.m. on Highway 138 near Highway 173, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two motorcyclists were reportedly hit by a car in unclear circumstances.

The officers who responded to the incident pronounced one person dead at the scene.

The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
