1 Seriously Injured in Manteca Truck Accident on Highway 99 and Austin Road
Manteca, California (August 29, 2022) – One person was severely hurt following a big rig crash early Monday morning in Manteca, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 12:29 a.m. on August 28, on northbound Highway 99, just south of Austin Road.
Per the report, a big rig driver hit a vehicle for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews and medical personnel responded to the accident scene to attend to at least one person hurt in the accident. It was not immediately known if the patient was transported to the hospital or was treated at the scene.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
All lanes were temporarily closed following the accident.
