Scott Baker Arrested after Novato Car Accident on Alameda Del Prado

Novato, California (August 29, 2022) – Scott Baker, 67, of Kentfield was arrested after a suspected DUI collision that happened in Novato on August 9, according to the authorities.
At about 8:15 a.m., Baker was reportedly driving a Mercedes E280 when he crashed into the rear of a Honda Civic.
The wreck happened on Alameda Del Prado, north of Posada Del Sol.
The driver of the Honda was treated at the scene after complaining of pain.
Authorities said Baker failed to stop at the scene after the collision but his vehicle became disabled nearly 1,000 feet from the site of the collision.
He was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and previous DUI offenses. Authorities booked him into the Marin County Jail and his bail was set at $50,000.
