1 Suffers Major Injuries in Fremont Car Accident on Interstate 880 near Alvarado Boulevard Off-Ramp
Fremont, California (August 29, 2022) – A Monday afternoon crash on Interstate 880 in Fremont sent one person to the hospital with major injuries, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident was reported at about 2:48 p.m. in the northbound lanes just south of the Alvarado Boulevard off-ramp.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Emergency personnel transported one person to Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center with a broken arm.
A separate two-vehicle crash occurred near the scene of the first collision. The second accident resulted in property damage only.
CHP is investigating the collisions.
