At Least Injured in Bakersfield Car Accident on Highway 99 near Highway 119
Bakersfield, California (August 30, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Bakersfield on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place shortly before 7 a.m. on Highway 99 near Highway 119.
According to CHP, a sedan and three SUVs were involved in the collision that took place in the northbound lanes of Highway 99.
Six sand cans were impacted in the incident and they blocked the lanes of traffic.
Minor injuries were reported in the crash. The number of those injured was not specified.
Tow trucks were requested to transport damaged vehicles from the scene.
The CHP is working to determine the cause of the collision.
