At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Nipton Car Accident on 15 Freeway near Nipton Road
Nipton, California (August 31, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a three-vehicle accident that took place Wednesday afternoon in Nipton, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported at about 12:45 p.m. on southbound 15 Freeway, near the Nipton Road overcrossing.
The accident involved a white Ford Focus, a Jeep Cherokee and a third vehicle.
The report said one party collapsed and was unresponsive after the collision.
Emergency personnel responded and helped at least one person who suffered major injuries.
The manner and cause of the accident were not immediately established.
