At Least 1 Injured in San Fernando Crash on San Fernando Road
San Fernando, California (September 2, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in San Fernando on Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The wreck happened on San Fernando Road at around 10:57 p.m. on August 30.
According to the report, a black BMW was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed and blowing through red lights when the driver collided with another vehicle.
One driver was freed by firefighters after being trapped in the wreckage. The victim was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities found open alcohol containers in the speeding driver's vehicle.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
