1 Sent to Hospital after Sacramento Car Accident on Highway 51 near Exposition Boulevard Off-Ramp
Sacramento, California (September 3, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday afternoon in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at about 4:48 p.m. on southbound Highway 51 near the Exposition Boulevard off-ramp.
The collision involved a black Mazda 6, a gray Honda Civic and a third car that overturned onto its roof.
As per the report, one of the vehicles was driving in and out of traffic lanes at high speeds prior to the accident.
The occupants of the overturned vehicle were able to get out shortly after the crash.

Sacramento firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with the complaint of pain to the neck.
The Exposition Boulevard off-ramp remained blocked as authorities investigated.
