1 Killed and 4 Others Hospitalized after Two-Car Crash on Mangate Avenue and Temple Avenue in La Puente
La Puente, California (September 4, 2022) – One person died, and four others were hospitalized after a fiery car accident that happened Sunday evening in La Puente, as per a local news source.
The incident took place at about 5:46 p.m. on Mangate Avenue and Temple Avenue.
Two vehicles collided in the area, and both caught fire and got fully engulfed.
Michael George, a La Puente resident, was shopping with his wife near the crash scene and rushed and helped the driver and passenger of one of the cars to get out as it went up in flames.
Responding emergency personnel said one person died in the collision, and four others were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Traffic was blocked off the area during a rescue operation and an investigation.
